Hand battered from Icelandic Cod loins |
Our
battered cod is prepared from 16-32 oz. Icelandic Cod loins and is hand cut into
irregular shaped 3 oz. pieces which are 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick. This
provides you wil a product thick enough to remain moist and have the appearance
of being prepared in your restaurant. Each piece is lightly coated with a
specially seasoned batter to enhance the flavor of the fish.
Icelandic Cod, (Gadius
Morhau), Wheat Flour,
Corn Flour, Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Salt, Corn Meal Corn Starch, Non-Fat Milk
Solids, Herbs, Spices, Onion Powder, Leavening, (Contains Baking Soda,
Mono-Calcium Phosphate, Sodium Aluminum Phosphate), and Extractives of Paprika
as a natural color and flavor.
Thaw
first. For best results, deep fry or sauté 4-6 minutes at 350 degrees.
