General Information:

Cod..  Cod is caught in cold northern waters around the world.  Primary sources are Iceland, Canada, Russia and Alaska.  Weyand's carries only Premium Icelandic Cod.  The flavor is mild-tasting with a medium firm flaky texture. Cod is very lean (less than 2% fat), so care must be taken not to overcook it.  Cod may be baked, poached, steamed or deep fried with equally great results!
