Whitefish. Weyand's carries both fresh and frozen Whitefish fillets. When the prices of seafood skyrocketing, this popular fish is still reasonably prices, furthermore it can be baked, broiled and pan fried with equally great results!
A 1 oz. serving contains the following: 38 cal., 5.4 gm protein, 0 carbohydrates, 1.7 gm. fat, .3 gm. sat. fat, 17 mg. cholesterol, 14 mg. salt.
BROILED WHITEFISH |

| 2 lbs. whitefish fillets 1 tbsp. margarine or butter, softened 3 tbsp. green onion, chopped Dash tabasco |
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated 3 tbsp. mayonnaise 1/3 tsp. salt Pepper to taste |
| Place fillets in a single layer on a well-oiled baking pan. Combine remaining ingredients. Spread evenly on fillets. Broil fish 6 inches from source of heat for approximately 10 minutes, or until lightly browned and the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Be careful not to broil too close to heat or topping will burn before fish is done. | |
